This mid 20th century building was formerly occupied by a bank, reflecting this, rows of the original security boxes are displayed above the bar in a steel construct.

In Chef Ruscalleda’s own words: “MOments stands for common sense, tradition, authenticity and a return to our roots". As the only female chef in the world to have earned seven Michelin stars for her restaurants in Spain and Tokyo, the 2-starred MOments promises to be one of the finest dining experiences in Barcelona. Key to Ruscalleda’s success is the inspiration she finds in fresh produce; her culinary team search daily for the season’s finest. The MOment’s menu will feature traditional dishes from the Catalan cookbook such as arroz caldoso (rice dish with broth), fricandó (veal stew) and suquet (fish stew).
This is a family team with the establishment being run by Chef Raül Balam, Carme Ruscalleda’s son The MOment’s dining room is an ultimately chic space; gold and amber touches glint in the bright daylight and shimmer in the evening. Private dining behind a sheer curtain presents an intimate view over the kitchen.
